Re-issue of passport is to be applied if an applicant wants to get a new passport and the applicant already holds a passport. Re-issue of passport can be applied in following cases:

Change in existing personal particulars :

• Validity Expired within 3 years/Due to Expire, i.e. passport renewal.
• Exhaustion of Pages.
• Damaged Passport.
• Lost Passport
• Validity Expired more than 3 years ago.

• Change of Appearance
• Change of Signature
• Change of Name
• Change of Date of Birth
• Change of Spouse's Name
• Change of Address
• Deletion of ECR
• Change of Place of Birth
• Change of Sex
