ECNR CLEARANCE
Most Indian people travelling to most of the countries do not require ECNR. If an applicant has a passport issued before January 2007 and would like get the passport stamped with ECNR, can apply for ECNR.
DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR ECNR CLEARANCE:
- All persons having educational qualifications of matriculation and above.
- All persons above the age of 50 years.
- All persons who have been staying abroad for more than three years (the period of three years could be either in one stretch or broken) and their spouses.
- Old passport needed to apply for ECNR clearance.
